Matt is a lifelong runner who has migrated from track and cross country (junior high through college), to the roads (post-college), and finally to ultras (since 2010). He still loves to race a wide variety of distances, but mostly runs trail races in the 50k - 100k range. He's also a personal running coach and a freelance writer for a variety of running magazines. For fun, he likes to brew beer and play/write music.
