Known for his TOWPATH Tri-jersey and his fast finishes, Phil can be found running around Letchworth State Park and the local races in the area... but only if it is above 70 degrees.
An admitted fair weather runner, Phil manages to stay fit throughout the year to be ready to race whatever trail is up next. (Let's just hope it's not a chilly morning!)
While quite speedy in the "shorter races" (like the 14 mile Dam Good Trail Run which he has won multiple times) Phil has started to dip his toes in ultra and is eyeing a hundred miler in the near future.
Phil Nesbitt has been a guest on 2 episodes.

097: All This Fitness and Nowhere to Go with It - with Phil Nesbitt
May 25th, 2020 | 1 hr 6 mins
Phil Nesbitt phones in from “down south” to talk about what’s it’s like to be super fit and have no races to show it off. Heh. Kidding. Sort of. More importantly, Phil and I talk about the current state of the parks and the impact of COVID from his perspective at the NYS Park Police. We also talk about this being the year of his first 100 miler and what community, races and race directors mean to us.
