Amy Lopata began her journey on trails by first saying “You’ll never get me out here again.” After an injury running roads she decided to give it another go and found what she had been missing. A place to get lost and then found with an amazing community. From trail work to aid station volunteering, to crewing and sweeping, she was inspired to take on her own challenge and completed her first 50-miler last year. Earlier this year she joined the board of #Trailsroc as the Slow and Steady (now Trail Learning Crew) coordinator, leading group runs on weekends on various local trails. When not out on the trails, she and her husband Dan are busy with his four kids and plenty of adventures.
Amy Lopata has been a guest on 2 episodes.
